About Me

Debbie Frost Counselling and Hypnotherapy

My name is Debbie Frost and I am a qualified and experienced Counsellor and Hypnotherapist based in Leeds, offering the support and therapy needed to help you overcome any stress, fears, phobias and concerns you may be experiencing.

All therapy is tailored to the clients individuals needs in a caring and non-judgmental manner.

I am a Profesional member of The National Hypnotherapy Society and an Associate member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

I have worked in organisations which specialise in domestic violence, abuse and adult survivors of child sexual abuse. I have worked with DISC (Leeds) a drugs rehabilitation unit in Leeds and I also volunteer for BARCA Reaching out Counselling and psychotherapy services, based in Leeds. I also hold a CRB certificate, which means I have been police checked to enable me to work with children and vulnerable adults. I hold relevant insurance.

At different times in our lives we can all develop unwanted behaviours and the hardest part for most is admitting they have a problem in the first place. These unwanted behaviours could include smoking, overeating, addictions, social anxieties, insomnia, depression, fear of flying or numerous other anxieties or weight loss related issues. Unfortunately, most people with these and other conditions rely on pills and other forms of medication for greater convenience instead of looking for a safer and more comprehensive solution such as Counselling and Hypnotherapy.

As a counsellor I work with people to address and resolve specific problems, making decisions, coping with crisis, developing personal insights and knowledge, working through inner conflict or improving relationships with others within a safe space. I believe counselling and hypnotherapy provide an opportunity for people to live a more satisfying and fulfilling life.

One of the enjoyable and exciting parts of doing what I do is that there is always more to learn!

“Beginning the Journey Back to You.”
